  • Notes
    • Tytherington Hall was purchased by William Acton in 1768. The next year he conveyed it to his son-in-law William Brooksbank. The estate passed to William's daughter Anne, the wife of Edward Stracey. She died without issue in 1832 and on the death of her husband, who was a life tenant, in 1851 the Tytherington Estates passed to the Rev Edward Hawke Brooksbank and then his son Edward, who sold the lands soon after.
