    He was initiated into the Masonic Grand Lodge known as 'Jerusalem' (number 263). His name was recorded as Thomas Fidgeon but he was a Merchant from Birmingham and his age was about right, so I'm pretty sure it was him. It might also be significant that it was 18 months before his marriage.
